Freight Damage Policy
We suggest that you remove the shipping carton to verify the condition of the article before you sign the delivery receipt!.
It left our warehouse in perfect condition and by signing the delivery receipt, you have accepted the article to be perfect condition.
Note any damage on the delivery receipt when signing for the freight.
Signing the delivery receipt and notating damage ensures that we will be able to easily file a claim.
We can then assist you with filing a freight damage claim and you will be compensated by the carrier, Antique Stoves is in no way responsible for the freight claim.
If the damage is too severe, refuse the freight, notify us and we will send a replacement piece.
Note that it is almost impossible to collect for any freight damage after you have signed the delivery receipt accepting the article in perfect condition!
If you will have someone else accept the freight for you, you are responsible for advising them of how to accept the freight.
Remember, be sure before you sign!!!
Merchandise Return Policy
All return freight and costs pertaining to return of merchandise must be prepaid and is sole responsibility of the customer.
All items must have Return Merchandise Authorization prior to return.
RESTOCKING FEE: There is a 30% restocking fee on all returned merchandise. Returns must be authorized in advance by Antique Stoves and the customer must ship the goods prepaid according to the above return policy.
Duties and Customs are the responsibility of the customer.
LIABILITY: We will not be responsible for any damages due to shipping delays, product availability, acts of God or any other direct losses or associated losses caused. Antique Stoves assumes no liability arising from the use, or mis-operation of any products purchased from us and at no time shall be responsible for any amount greater than the purchase price of said products.
